Before I begin, I must say this my experience with console, other members may have a different experience so I just wanted to make that clear. Today i'm going to discuss whether the Nintendo Switch is a console that you should buy either for streaming or something casual. Within the 2 weeks I have used the console, my time with it has been pretty enjoyable however my time going online has been a hellish nightmare. If I am the sole person using my decent WiFi I can get disconnected in the heat of battle in Splatoon 2. As of the day of writing this review (08/24/2017) Nintendo is yet to release it's online service which may improve on my connection issues in different locations other than my house. My next topic is prices right now the switch is officially sold for £279.99 ($358.50) for both neon and black colors which I see fair since it's hardware is close to the original PS4 and Xbox One, which sold for $400 and $500 respectively when they released. The graphics are a big step up from the wii u staying at locked 1080p60fps in the dock mode and 720p in handheld mode. I wouldn't recommend buying the pro controller until you've tried the pre-packaged joy con grip as its very comfortable to hold. On the go the screens big however sometimes i can't reach a button on my switch since the console is so big. Battery life on switch is 2-5 hours as Splatoon 2 will drain it so much while games like sonic mania will give you nice long battery life. when it comes to streaming games i'd recommend, are your big triple A titles (Arms, the legend of Zelda, Mario kart 8, Splatoon 2 all of these games can involve your viewers in some way. Now with this information I hope you have a better understanding for the switch. I'll leave some links for what you need (switch) (capture card) most recommended capture card ] more options available as long as they support HDMI. Overall i'd give this a 8 joy cons outta 10
