This mic is a great starting microphone. I've been using this mic for over a year now to record my YouTube videos, I cant see myself using any other microphone for a very long time. It sounds great, its affordable, and has durable construction. A shock mount and pop filter are also included. 48Vs of phantom power are required for this mic. While it’s by no means the greatest condenser microphone, it’s going to meet or exceed the expectations of the average user.
